Amba UK combines over 20 years of HR expertise with a focus on sustainability, helping organisations put employee wellbeing and engagement at the heart of their strategy.

We are proud to be working with Amba to deliver Lumina, a secure cloud-based HR rewards portal that connects employees with benefits, resources, and third-party services through a single sign-on experience.

Lumina has been designed to grow with Amba’s clients. By acting as both an Identity Provider (IdP) and a Service Provider (SP), the platform enables secure Single Sign-On (SSO) with third-party suppliers using strict SAML v2 protocols. This gives employees a seamless way to access benefits while keeping data secure and fully compliant.

Behind the scenes, Lumina is powered by a custom-built CMS that gives Amba full control over client and content management without the compromises of an off-the-shelf solution. The modular framework allows new features to be introduced rapidly, helping Amba stay ahead of changing market demands.

To make deployments simple and scalable, we introduced Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Using Azure REST API and Azure Bicep, Amba can provision and roll out new environments at the click of a button, making it easy to serve both small clients and enterprise-scale customers.

Lumina is an ongoing project, now in its fourth phase of development, and continues to expand thanks to the collaborative efforts of hayman.dev, Mohunky, Ralph Media, and Amba UK.
